Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School is proud of the many opportunites throughout the year students have to deepen their faith.
Students in grades Kindergarten through grade 8 attend Mass each week. All grade levels have the opportunity to plan and participate in Masses throughout the year. These opportunities include: being a cantor, singing in the choir, being a reader, greeting people as they enter church, being a server, being a cross bearer, and presenting the gifts. Parents and other family members are invited to attend the weekly masses.
Prayer is an essential aspect of our lives. Our entire school prays at the beginning and end of each school day. Classes also pray together throughout the day, before meals, and prior to starting class.
Our faith is lived out throughout as students have the opportunity to participate in many devotions. Some of these devotions are May Crowning, the Christmas program, Advent activities, Lenten activities, Divine Mercy, the Rosary, and the Stations of the Cross.
