Mrs.
Laurie Huger
Mrs. Huger was born and raised in
Baltimore, Maryland. She received her BA in Speech Pathology
from James Madison University and her master’s in Education from Gallaudet
University. This will be her fourteenth year teaching, her seventh
at Lourdes. She has taught at the middle and high school levels, both
regular and special education. She is an OLL parishioner and is married with two children, Ben and
Lane, who are OLL students. In her spare time, Mrs. Huger enjoys watching her
children’s sporting events, going to the beach, and running.
Mrs. Chris Brennan
Mrs. Brennan is happy to be
returning to Our Lady of Lourdes for her ninth year. She earned a BS in
Education at Slippery Rock State University, and did her graduate work at
Pennsylvania State University. She is originally from Saint Marys, Pennsylvania,
and relocated to Raleigh with her husband and two children fourteen years ago.
Both of her children are graduates of OLL and Cardinal Gibbons High
School.
She has twenty-two years of experience, having taught students in kindergarten
through seventh grades, both regular and special education. She enjoys
participating in outdoor activities such as skiing and biking, and she loves to
travel. She loves third graders and is looking forward to a another
terrific year at OLL.
