Mrs. Lori Elliott
While a North Carolina Teaching Fellow at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, Mrs. Elliott earned her Bachelor of Arts in English. She taught in Wilson, North Carolina at Beddingfield High School her first year. After she got married, she moved to Raleigh and worked at South Granville High School in Creedmoor, North Carolina. She participated in the Capital Area Writing Project, advised the yearbook, learned and taught Paideia, and attended North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching during this time. She then had two children and stayed home with them until going back to teaching at Carroll Middle School in Raleigh, teaching sixth grade language arts. Now at Our Lady of Lourdes, Mrs. Elliott teaches sixth and seventh grade language arts and advises the yearbook staff. She is currently working on her masters in English, multicultural and transnational literature. For fun she likes to read, walk, swim, and cheer for the Wolfpack!
Mrs. Karla Sinclair
Mrs. Sinclair was born and raised in Saskatchewan, Canada. She is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor’s degree in Middle Years Education. In 2001, she came from Canada to North Carolina as a member of the Visiting International Faculty Program. Since this time, she has taught in both Granville County and Wake County Schools teaching Social Studies and Language Arts.
Mrs. Diana Spellman
Ms. Dianna Spellman has been a member of the OLL community for 13 years. She has three children who have graduated from OLL and one more to do so. At OLL, she was the treasurer for the Home and School association for three years and she had held the position of Hot Lunch Director for six years and served over 80,000 lunches. She is presently a teachers assistant with the entire Middle school and loves working with these students.
