Mrs. Angela Finn

Mrs. Finn was born in Indiana where she spent most of her childhood. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, where she earned a BS degree in Psychology. She earned her Masters of Library Science degree at East Carolina University and has been living in North Carolina now for ten years.

Prior to OLLS, she worked as a media specialist in a large K-5 NC public elementary school. This is her sixth year at Our Lady of Lourdes School.

Married to Steve for over 20 years, she is the very proud (and busy) parent of three teenage children – a daughter and twin boys – all previous students at Our Lady of Lourdes. She has a Labrador retriever, JC, and a cat named Lucky. Her favorite past-times/hobbies include antique and flea market shopping, spending time with her family, flower gardening, reading and swimming.

Mrs. Yvonne Roughton

Mrs. Roughton, library assistant to Mrs. Finn, was the former Our Lady of Lourdes School librarian for twenty years. Assisting Mrs. Finn allows her to continue working with our students and building a bigger, better collection of books.

She earned a BS degree in Business Education at East Carolina University and taught at Central High School in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, before raising a family of four. She is the proud grandmother of three.
