Mrs. Katie Simmons

Mrs. Simmons is originally from Baltimore County, Maryland, and spent her childhood summers on the Jersey Shore.  She graduated from the University of Maryland with a BA in Psychology.  Mrs. Simmons did her post graduate work at National University in San Diego as well as the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and holds a North Carolina Teaching Certificate.  She received her Catechetical Certificate from the University of San Diego, California.  She has taught on the elementary level for nineteen years and served as vice principal of St. John’s School in Encinitas, California.  Mrs. Simmons is married and has three daughters, one of whom attends Our Lady of Lourdes.

Ms. Terri Green

Ms Green is originally from San Francisco, California. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Santa Clara University a Jesuit University in Santa Clara, CA. She received her California Teaching Credential from Notre Dame Da Namur University in Belmont, CA in 1993. She taught third grade for three years at Corpus Christi School in the Mission District of San Francisco and the same grade for nine years at Holy Name School in San Francisco. She moved to Raleigh in 2007 and taught third grade for two years at Stough Elementary School in Wake County. She was very excited to have a chance to return to the Catholic school setting and is looking forward to her third year at Our Lady of Lourdes! In her spare time she likes to read, fish, hike and spend time with her family.

Mrs. Lori Neff - Assistant

Ms. Neff was born and raised in the Detroit area. She earned a Bachelor Arts Degree from Albion College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. After college she worked as an engineer for DuPont before staying home with her three children. While working as an engineer, Ms. Neff earned her Masters of Business Administration from Auburn University. Her true passion has always been to work with children, so Ms. Neff truly loves her position as a teaching assistant at Our Lady of Lourdes School. Ms. Neff and her husband, Kevin, have two sons who attend OLLS and a daughter in high school.
