First Grade
 

Mrs. Amy Y. Parent

Mrs. Parent is a product of Catholic education from elementary school through high school.  She attended Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia.  She received her BA in Elementary Education and received her MS in Early Childhood Development.  This will be her thirteenth year teaching in a Catholic school.  She previously taught second grade in Charleston, West Virginia, at Sacred Heart Grade School and now is in her tenth year at OLL.

 

Ms. Susan H. Kirkpatrick

Ms. Kirkpatrick is a product of Catholic education.  She earned her BS in Sociology from the University of West Florida and her MS from Florida State University.  This will be her twelfth year teaching in a Catholic School. She has taught first, third, fourth, and fifth grades in her career.  This is her ninth year at OLL.

 

Mrs. Daisy King

Ms. King was raised in Oxford, North Carolina.  She attended Peace College and the University of Chapel Hill where she studied Business and Psychology.  For the next  ten years she worked in hotel sales and catering.  Then she spent two years at the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau marketing Raleigh.  After staying home with her children for three and a half years, she went back to work.  She worked for two years as an assistant teacher at White Memorial Weekday School.  She is married and has two children attending Our Lady of Lourdes School.  Ms. King is very excited to be a part of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes School.  Ms. King is Mrs. Parent’s teaching assistant in first grade.


Mrs. Renee Billy

Renee Billy received her BS in Business Administration from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA. She then went on to earn an MBA from Moravian College in Bethlehem PA.

Ms. Billy was a Customer Service Representative for IBM Corporation in both Pennsylvania and North Carolina.  She also held several management positions for Hershey Entertainment Corporation in Hershey, PA.  Ms. Billy stepped out of the workforce to start a family.

Ms. Billy was a teacher assistant at St. Mark's preschool in Raleigh for two years before coming to Our Lady of Lourdes.  Ms. Billy and her husband Paul have lived in Clayton for fourteen years and have two children who attend Our Lady of Lourdes School.
