Mrs. Kathy Schultz - Assistant

Mrs. Schultz hails from New Jersey but is now happy to call North Carolina home. She earned a nursing diploma from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and a BS in Sociology from Chestnut Hill College, also in Philadelphia. She worked in hospitals in NJ and PA before deciding to stay home to raise her four children. Since 2007 she has subbed at OLL in all grades but finds it hard to choose which one she likes the best! In May she received a certificate in middle school science education from NCSU. When she is not having fun in 1K, she likes to spend time with her husband, John, and their four children: Kate, an ICU nurse in Chapel Hill, Matthew, a data analyst in PA, Will, a graduate student at Princeton University, and Peter, her only OLL graduate, who is a sophomore at UNC-Chapel Hill.
