Mrs. Brooks was born and raised in Dorchester, Massachusetts. She relocated to Nashua, New Hampshire, where she raised her two sons.  Chris lives in Los Angeles and works as an actor, producer, and comedy writer and Jon, who lives in Washington, DC and works in national politics. While in New Hampshire she was a teacher’s assistant at St. Joseph Regional Junior High School. In 2000 Mrs. Brooks and her husband Ray moved to Knightdale and Patty went on to work as a computer teacher at Cathedral School for three years. Mrs. Brooks has been at OLLS for the last eight years. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and three year old grandson, Hank.
