Dorothea Bitler, a long-time parishioner and OLL School alumna, has joined the staff as Director of Development.  Her previous work experience includes Communications and Community Relations assignments with IBM in RTP; she was the first full-time Executive Director of the WakeMed Foundation and served as Executive Director of The North Carolina Museum of History Associates.  She most recently worked as Manager of Marketing and Sales at North Hills/Kane Realty, working with merchants and focusing on signature community events at North Hills.  She received her BA in Communications from UNC-Chapel Hill and her MA from The University of Virginia.  Mrs. Bitler and her husband, Geff, have four children, all Lourdes graduates.  Brooke and Amanda finished at UNC-CH and Meredith College, respectively, and are working in the area.  Glenn and Mary Morgan are sophomores at UNC-CH.
